Whether it’s traditional wildlife documentaries, promotional videos for conservation organizations, or outdoor adventure narratives, Sandcrane Hill can make your stories timeless, gripping, and impactful.

Sandcrane Hill Productions was founded by Herman Hannan, who grew up immersed in the natural wonders of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. He has five years of combined experience in film, writing, and audio production.

Why the name? Growing up, Herman used to watch the sunset over Katchemak Bay from a sandy hillside. His hometown was an excellent place to spot sandhill cranes, so he and his friends dubbed the spot Sandcrane Hill. This childhood sense of wonder at the natural world motivates our work from start to finish.
